Aims and Scope

 

The Journal of Human and Animal Intestines (JHAI) is an Open Access publication that covers topics associated with the study and research of the digestive system of both humans and animals. The journal seeks to provide scientists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals with a critical source of data and research findings on the subject of digestive health. 


The aim of the journal is to provide an international platform for researchers and clinicians to share their research findings and knowledge on the digestive system. The journal also aims to provide an integrated approach to the study and understanding of the digestive system, by building on the existing research from various disciplines such as physiology,  gastroenterology, hepatology, nutrition, microbiome, gastrointestinal cancer, anatomy, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology, cell biology, immunology and pathology. 


JHAI covers a variety of topics related to the digestive system, including the structure and function of the intestine, the role of the digestive system in health, and the development and management of the disease process. The articles featured in the journal are peer-reviewed and written by experts in the field of digestive health.


The journal features research on the diagnosis, prevention and management of diseases of the digestive system, including drug-related research, surgical techniques, and nutritional interventions.

 

JHAI is committed to the provision of quality information on the digestive system and the promotion of excellence in its clinical practice. The journal is open to original research, reviews and opinion pieces, and encourages contributions from authors of different backgrounds and disciplines.
