Non Hodgkin Lymphoma

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. It is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide, and affects both adults and children. This cancer occurs when lymphocytes - a type of white blood cell - become abnormal and multiply in an uncontrolled manner. NHL can present with a range of symptoms, including swollen lymph nodes, abdominal pain and weight loss. A combination of treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, stem cell transplants and targeted therapy can be used to treat the disease. Early detection and diagnosis of NHL is important for successful treatment.
