Overview

RNA, Transfer, Amino Acyl is a molecular process essential for the appropriate expression of genetic information. This process is a form of protein synthesis, wherein transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules containing an amino acid are attached to a matching codon in a messenger RNA (mRNA) molecule. This process is required for the efficient translation of genetic information encoded in the mRNA molecule into a strand of amino acids which will later be used to form a desired protein. RNA, Transfer, Amino Acyl is thus fundamental to biological organisms' ability to produce appropriate proteins from any given genetic code.
