Aims and Scope

International Epilepsy Journal is an open-access journal that publishes manuscripts after thorough peer review. This journal deals with all aspects of epilepsy and epilepsy-related fields including clinical and basic research.

Submissions pertaining to epilepsy treatments are invited from research investigators, principal investigators, medical practitioners in the form of Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials with the latest updates in epilepsy treatment.

The chief aim of the epilepsy journal is to provide the updated knowledge on epilepsy globally to the readers, promote and encourage research on epilepsy and also provide the latest updates on diagnosis, treatment, and management of people with epilepsy.

The primary aim of IEJ is to provide authors with a forum to disseminate the latest research and information regarding the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of epileptic disorders and provide readers with a wide range of information related to the disorder.

IEJ also serves as a platform for dissemination of topics related to epilepsy and its diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. We welcome submissions from researchers and clinicians from all areas of science relevant to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of epileptic disorders. IEJ’s scope includes biological, clinical, and adjunctive therapies, rehabilitation, public health and health care policy, epidemiology, genetic counselling, behaviours and psycho-social aspects of epilepsy, developmental aspects, and educational issues and interventions.

With our commitment to publish only the highest quality of scientifically based and peer-reviewed articles, IEJ’s goal is to encourage the exchange of knowledge among our readers, broaden the boundaries of scientific knowledge, and enable the field of epilepsy to grow and develop. We also hope to increase public awareness and understanding of the disorder and help to reduce stigma and discrimination.
