Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
General Requirements
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English
- Format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format preferred
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced
- Margins: 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides
- Page Numbers: Consecutive page numbering throughout
- Line Numbers: Include line numbers for review purposes
Manuscript Structure
Title Page
- Concise, informative title (maximum 250 characters)
- Full names and affiliations of all authors
- Corresponding author contact information
- ORCID IDs for all authors (recommended)
- Word count (excluding references and figures)
Abstract
- Maximum 300 words for research articles
- Structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
- No references or abbreviations in abstract
- Clear statement of research significance
Keywords
Provide 4-6 keywords that accurately reflect the manuscript content. Use MeSH terms where applicable.
Main Text Sections
- Introduction: Clear rationale, literature review, and study objectives
- Methods: Detailed methodology for reproducibility
- Results: Clear presentation of findings with appropriate statistics
- Discussion: Interpretation, limitations, and implications
- Conclusions: Concise summary of key findings and significance
Figures and Tables
Figure Requirements
- High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
- Acceptable formats: TIFF, PNG, or high-quality JPEG
- Clear, legible labels and text
- Descriptive captions explaining all elements
- Color figures accepted for online publication
Table Guidelines
- Self-explanatory with clear column headers

- Footnotes for abbreviations and explanations

References
IJCV follows the Vancouver citation style. References should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the text.

Publication Policies & COPE Guidelines
COPE Compliance
IJCV strictly adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards. All manuscripts must comply with international ethical principles and our journal's editorial policies.
Duplicate Submission Policy
⚠️ Strictly Prohibited: Duplicate submission is not allowed. Authors must ensure their manuscript is not under consideration by any other journal at the time of submission. Violation will result in immediate rejection and may affect future submissions.
Plagiarism and Research Integrity
All manuscripts undergo comprehensive plagiarism screening using advanced detection software. IJCV maintains zero tolerance for:

Post-Publication Policies
Corrections and Errata
Minor errors that do not affect the scientific conclusions will be corrected through published errata linked to the original article. Authors should report errors promptly.
Retractions
Articles may be retracted for serious misconduct, fundamental scientific flaws, or ethical violations. Retractions are conducted in accordance with COPE guidelines and clearly documented.
Expressions of Concern
When concerns arise about published work, IJCV may issue expressions of concern while investigations are ongoing, maintaining transparency in accordance with COPE recommendations.
Corrections Notice Guidelines
For any post-publication corrections:
- Contact the editorial office immediately upon discovering errors
- Provide detailed description of the error and proposed correction
- All corrections are reviewed by editors before publication
- Correction notices are published and linked to the original article
- Original article maintains a clear link to correction notice
