Serum Calcium

Serum calcium is the measure of calcium levels in the bloodstream. It is important for many body functions, including nerve conduction, muscle contraction, and blood clotting. Abnormal calcium levels can lead to a variety of health issues, often related to the heart, bones, muscles, and/or nerve function. Serum calcium is monitored regularly to ensure proper functioning and health, and to detect any abnormalities.
