JARH welcomes manuscript submissions through our online portal or email system. Authors can submit manuscripts via the online submission portal or by emailing [email protected]. All submissions receive initial editorial screening for scope alignment, ethical compliance, and methodological soundness.
Manuscripts deemed suitable for review undergo rigorous single-blind peer review by two or more independent experts with relevant domain expertise. Reviewers evaluate scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, data interpretation, and contribution to the field. Authors receive constructive feedback and clear editorial decisions with revision guidance when applicable.
To support high-quality open access publishing, JARH implements article processing charges (APCs) that cover peer review coordination, professional editing, typesetting, unlimited color figures, online hosting, and long-term digital preservation. APCs are due only upon manuscript acceptance, ensuring that financial considerations do not influence editorial decisions during review.
JARH is committed to removing financial barriers to publication. We offer APC waivers and discounts for authors from low- and middle-income countries, early-career researchers, and those facing financial constraints. For detailed information on APC rates, payment options, and waiver eligibility, visit our Article Processing Charges page.
I found OAP great to work with, very fast turnaround of the review and publishing decision. Their staff are both friendly and prompt in response to questions and provide all the information required. I found this a totally different experience compared to traditional journals and would recommend OAP as an effective way to get work disseminated quickly and actually have a high impact on the field due to their open access policy. The scope of the journal is broad yet the quality of publications are high. So overall a positive experience and I would publish with them again.
I found the JARH an optimal host of innovative science that works almost perfectly time-wise. Words cannot truly appreciate their hard work but can indeed convey the real satisfaction.
JARH upholds the highest standards of research ethics and publication integrity. All human subject research must have appropriate institutional review board approval and informed consent. Animal research must comply with ethical guidelines and institutional animal care protocols. Authors must disclose potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, and individual author contributions using the CRediT taxonomy.
We adhere to Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for addressing publication misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, and authorship disputes. Our editorial team investigates allegations promptly and takes appropriate corrective actions, including corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when warranted.
