The Journal of Medical Informatics and Decision Making (JMID) is an open access journal dedicated to the publication of original, peer-reviewed research on the development, use, and evaluation of information and communication technologies in healthcare. The journal aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between clinicians, researchers and health technicians in order to inform and improve decision-making in the field of medical informatics. Journal seeks to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare and advancing patient care.

Instructions for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original, previously unpublished research contributions addressing topics such as digital health, medical data mining, healthcare analytics, artificial intelligence, medical decision support systems, clinical decision support systems, medical imaging informatics, health data science, healthcare robotics, medical informatics applications, and health-related big data. Submitted manuscripts must be in English and should adhere to the journal’s Information for Authors and Instructions for Authors. 
 

Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted online through the journals online submission and tracking system, and should include an abstract, key words and references. A detailed guide to authors style and formatting is available upon submission. For queries not addressed in the author instructions, authors can contact the editorial office, which will give appropriate guidance whenever needed.

The editorial board is comprised of experts in the field of medical informatics and decision making, including researchers and practitioners from universities, health care organizations.
