Biography
Dr. Raúl Isea is a researcher at the Fundación Instituto de Estudios Avanzados in Caracas, Venezuela, specializing in bioinformatics and computational science. He received his PhD following studies at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Dr. Isea has contributed to the application of computational methods in public health and biological systems, with his most-cited work being "A preliminary model to describe the transmission dynamics of Covid-19 between two neighboring cities or countries" (2020). His scholarly output includes more than eleven indexed publications addressing problems at the intersection of computational modeling and biological sciences.
