This membership is designed for individual veterinarians, researchers, and independent authors who publish regularly. It includes APC waivers, editorial guidance, and optional language support to help improve submission quality. Members may submit unlimited manuscripts as authors or co-authors, excluding special issues.

Individual membership also provides a Certificate of Membership and professional recognition for contributions to veterinary scholarship.

The Student Membership program supports graduate and postgraduate trainees who are building their publication record in veterinary medicine. Benefits include discounted APCs, guidance on ethical reporting, and educational resources that explain peer review and editorial expectations.

Students receive a personalized Membership Certificate and can submit unlimited manuscripts, excluding special issues. Applications require a short recommendation letter from a faculty member, department head, or research advisor.

Institutional Membership is built for universities, veterinary hospitals, research institutes, and academic departments that publish multiple manuscripts each year. It offers APC waivers across departments, streamlined administrative processing, and acknowledgment as a scholarly partner.

Institutions receive a Scholarly Institution Membership Certificate and benefit from centralized billing support to ease administrative workload.

Corporate and Industry Membership supports organizations in animal health, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and agriculture. It enables collaborative publishing, strengthens scientific credibility, and provides structured APC waivers for teams that publish regularly.

Membership includes a Corporate Membership Certificate and highlights commitment to veterinary innovation and evidence based practice.

APC waivers are applied after acceptance, never at the time of editorial decision. Peer review remains independent and membership status does not influence acceptance or rejection. Once a manuscript is accepted, the membership team confirms eligibility and applies the waiver or discount to the invoice.

If a member submits multiple manuscripts, waivers are applied until the membership allocation is used. Any remaining balance can be paid by the author, institution, or sponsor. For clarification, contact the membership office before submitting your invoice request.

Journal of Veterinary Healthcare follows publication ethics aligned with COPE. Authors must confirm animal welfare compliance, institutional ethics approvals, and data availability statements where applicable. Membership does not replace these requirements and manuscripts lacking ethical documentation may be returned for revision.
